BeatBlock M.A.P. Policy

MAP POLICY

In order to build and maintain integrity for Tech-Life and Tech-Life’s brand equity by emphasizing the value and quality of Tech-Life’s products through advertising and marketing, Tech-Life has established a Minimum Advertising Price (MAP) Policy that an authorized reseller has to follow for the advertising and marketing of Tech-Life products. All Tech-Life authorized resellers must agree to the terms and condition of the following Tech-Life’s MAP Policy Guidelines MAP pricing levels for Tech-Life’s products can be found on Tech-Life’s web site, All advertised prices must be within 10% at or above MAP for products if a MAP price has been established by Tech-Life. Not all products have a MAP price associated with it. If a MAP price is not listed, then the reseller is free to advertise the unit at any price they are comfortable with. Pricing of Products covered by the MAP may not be displayed or paired with any discount (strikethrough, overlay or other modification) showing a reduction in price below 10% of MAP. Resellers are responsible for ensuring their pricing is at or above MAP on Internet search engines. Resellers are free to set the actual resale price of any product. Tech-Life’s MAP policy for products applies to advertising placements, including but not limited to: print ads (inserts, magazines, newspapers, catalogs, mail order catalogs, etc.), broadcast (radio and TV), direct mail, faxes, Internet placement with third parties (banner ads, online auctions, broadcast emails, destination pages, third-party sites), Internet placements on resellers own website, and any flyers, posters or coupons.

The Current MAP for BeatBlock is $69.99.

Internet Site Pricing

Pricing listed on an Internet site is considered “advertised price” and must adhere to Tech-Life’s MAP Policy until the product is placed in the “virtual shopping cart.” Once the product enters the shopping cart it is considered part of the check-out procedure and is not a MAP violation. Pricing Statements Tech-Life’s MAP Policy does allow resellers to omit pricing entirely from advertisements and/or ad statements such as “Call for Price,” “Call for Quote” or “Add to Cart for Price.”

Tech-Life End-User Rebates

If a Tech-Life authorized end-user rebate promotion is underway with a Tech-Life product, resellers may advertise a price lower than MAP – provided the reseller notes (below the price and on the same page) that the rebate has been deducted from the advertised price and the amount of the rebate. Advertising a rebate outside of the authorized rebate timeframe is not allowed and is considered a violation of the MAP Policy. Free Offers Associated with Tech-Life Product Free shipping and/or handling, 0% sales tax, or free financing promotions do not violate the

Price Matching Policies

Price matching policies are acceptable; however they cannot be used as a valid reason for violations of Tech-Life’s MAP Policy. Failure to Comply with the MAP Policy At the discretion of Tech-Life, intentional and/or repeated failure to abide by Tech-Life’s MAP Policy can result in the loss of authorization status and the ability to participate in marketing programs, access and funding, including but not limited to:
